Photography started off as a way to bring my family and friends with me to the amazing places I have been. Now photography is a pure passion for me. I was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved back here after spending just short of five years in the US Army. On weekends I try get away and enjoy the beautiful American Southwest, from high deserts to mountain lakes, each provides a unique setting.
At MaTeK Photography, I strive to produce unique but natural occurring images of mother nature at work. When I am behind the camera I try to ensure I capture the random beauty that is produced naturally every day and capture it for all the enjoy.
